ROWAN STEWART APD BApplSc, GradDipNut&Diet, MHlthSc
Rowan is the author/editor of The Handbook of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, General Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics and Australian Feeds and Formulae. She has lectured in undergraduate and post-graduate programs at Bond University, University of Queensland and Griffith University. Rowan’s US based company Nutrition Care Professionals publishes The Nutrition Care Process: A Practical Approach textbook and develops unique online learning materials for dietetic students worldwide. Rowan has over 20 years experience as a clinical dietitian. She draws on evidence-based nutrition science as the foundation of her consultations ensuring that the most up-to-date information is provided. Her clinical focus is gastrointestinal disorders. Other areas of professional interest are:
- Energy and muscle power for daily living
- Blood glucose control for diabetes
- Hypertension and heart disease
- Food intolerances including FODMAPS and additives
