PRIVATE HEALTH FUND
Australian Dietitian is a registered provider with Australian private health funds. Most private health funds provide rebates for consultations with dietitians. The rebate will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your private health care provider for more information. No referral is required if claiming under private health cover.
MEDICARE
Australian Dietitian is a registered provider with Medicare. Medicare provides rebates for clients who have been referred to a dietitian by their doctor on a Chronic Disease Management Plan (or Enhanced Primary Care Plan). Australian Dietitian does not bulk bill consultations.
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
Australian Dietitian is a registered provider with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). DVA Gold Card Holders are entitled to consultations with dietitians at no cost. If you are an eligible DVA Gold Card Holder, a DVA referral form (D904) from your doctor is required at consultation.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made by cash, Amex, Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Consultations missed or cancelled without 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the consultation fee.
