I’ve purchased an NCPro online case study. What are my next steps?
When you purchase your case studies from Australian Dietitian, we will be in touch within 24 business hours* with a unique access code and instructions on how to register. Once you’ve received your code, you’ll need to go to nutritioncarepro.com and fill in your details to register.
* Please note, we work as quickly as possible to get these codes to you. Australian Dietitian are working on systems to expedite this process.

I’ve purchased the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology book, now what?
Go to nutritioncarepro.com and register your access to the NCPro Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You will find your unique access code on the scratch panel on the front inside cover of your text.
What will I find on the VLE that I won’t in the printed text?
The NCPro’s Virtual Learning Environment is a vast online resource. All the information in the text is included online plus much, much more.
You’ll discover:
- Life-like video simulations of patient-dietitian interactions
- Interactive modules on selected topics, e.g. interviewing techniques and interdisciplinary team functions
- Recordings of medical specialists discussing the patients who appear in the case studies
- Time-saving auto-calculating Nutrition Analysis spreadsheets
- Up-to-date Mind Maps – each year the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics update the NCP terms and codes. Nutrition Care Professionals update the VLE and stay on top of the latest terms and codes
Can I join in the NCPro webinars?
The webinars are open to anyone who would like to join. Each webinar runs for 30 minutes to an hour and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions. Discussion topics for webinars range from Nutrition Assessment to writing the perfect PES.

I’m not a student, are the NCPro resources still applicable to me?
Absolutely! The NCPro case studies are a great way to stay on-top of the latest literature and can be used for Continuing Professional Developement (CPD) points.
I already have a membership on the NCPro website
– can I purchase additional cases?
Yes, additional cases are available to purchase from the Australian Dietitian site. There are currently 13 cases in total.

Once you’ve purchased your new cases from Australian Dietitian you will be sent an access code. Please note, this code will be sent to your email address within 24 business hours of your purchase.
To add case to your profile:
- Login to nutritioncarepro.com
- Go to “My Profile”
- Select “Add New Access Code” and enter the access code

Director
As Australian-based Director of Nutrition Care Professionals Rowan combines her academic training in dietetic education, her expertise in publishing and a long-term interest in clinical dietetics to produce educational resources on the Nutrition Care Process. Rowan is known for her best-selling Handbook of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, a key text in universities and clinical practice.

Esther Myers
(PhD, RD, FAND)
Director
Dr Esther Myers is a director of Nutrition Care Professionals based in the US. She is an internationally known author, lecturer, educator and researcher in dietetics and evidence analysis. Dr Myers was instrumental in the development of the Nutrition Care Process and Model and the NCPT, during her 11-year tenure as Chief Science Officer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
